The Governor of Edo State , Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has been declared  winner of the Governorship Election held on 14th July, 2012, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), returning Officer, Prof Osayuki Oshodi announced the result on Sunday the 15th of July, 2012.

He was re-elected back to pilot the State with great margin.  
Result: PDP - 144 235. ACN - 477 478. ANPP - 3642. CPC - 2793.  SDMP - 807. LP - 604. 
             NCP - 504.
