On the night of Sunday, 8 July, Nigeria’s representative at the
ongoing Big Brother Stargame, singer Goldie Harvey was saved from
eviction in the live show broadcast across the continent. But Kenya
finally had its numbers at the Big Brother Star Game reduced by one,
following the eviction of Malonza Chege.
He,
alongside Namibia’s Junia, were not lucky to survive the eviction as
they were booted out of the competition. Malonza and Junia, formed what
was named Stargame’s most loved couple. The two lovebirds only reunited
few moments before their eviction from the BBA house.
When IK, the show host first announced
the eviction of Malonza, Junia had broken down as her man walked out. Moments later she too found out she was headed for home. At this point she let out a sigh of relief and whispered, “At least I am leaving with him.”
Goldie, Junia, Malonza, Prezzo, Lady May and Kyle had all been nominated for eviction last week. With this escape, the Kennis Music singer is a step closer to winning the $300,000 prize. If she eventually does, that would be history for Nigeria as the only country to win the competition four times in a row.
Uti Nwachukwu, Kelvin Pam and Karen Igho have won the competition in a row for Nigeria.
