At about 9.30am on thursday morning the people of Aramoko-Ekiti in the Ekiti West Local
Government Area, Ekiti State were thrown into tumor when a mother of
four Mrs. Bose Edijana Lucky was found beheaded on her way to meet her husband, Mr. Nnaefenwa Lucky in the farm where she met her demise.

The incident was believed to have happened when the woman was taking food to her husband who was working on the farm.

Community in Aramoko-Ekiti, the chairman, Chief Samuel Okorefe, explain to newsmen that the victim was said to have gone to the market in the morning to buy some ingredient to prepare food and after she had cooked the food, she headed for her husband’s
farm to give him food.

Shortly after Bose had gone to the farm, her husband was said to have come to town calling for help, informing people of the community that his wife had been beheaded by some unknown people suspected to be ritualists.

The community leader with other elders went directly to the palace of Alara of Aramoko, Oba Olu Adeyemi, and reported the matter.

They informed the police and a team of policemen drove to the scene of the incident and removed the remains of the victim.
The cops were shocked to discover that the head, neck and arms had been cut off.

The husband was taken to the police station where he made a statement.

He was later detained.

By sunday morning the PRO of the state Mr. Victor Babayemi, told SUNDAY PUNCH that it was too early to conclude that Lucky killed his
wife.

According to SUNDAY PUNCH, The PRO said, “We are aware of the allegation against the husband. The man is still with us but we don’t want to jump into conclusions. He told
us that he asked his wife to bring food to him on the farm and that he later found her dead along the footpath. We can’t say what actually
happened until we are through with our investigations.”
