Englishman Andy Murray won Gold in Men's Singles' Tennis event here on Sunday, bringing long-awaited cheers to the English crowd who had seen a tearful Murray lose to Federer in the Wimbledon not long back.
Murray prevailed over his Swiss opponent in straight sets, winning the Olympic finals 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 without breaking a sweat.
