At least 95 people died in fuel tanker explosion in Nigeria

Early thursday morning ,at least 95 people have been confirm dead and 18 people injured in an explosion of a fuel tanker  which bursted into flames as villagers were scooping fuel at Okobe in Ahoada
West Local Government Area of Rivers State, South south, Nigeria.

This was made known by the head public relations unit NEMA Yushau
Shuaib, who also said that rescue workers from the police, road safety,
fire service; civil defense and NEMA were at the scene to evacuate
victims and control the traffic.
 According to him, four vehicles, including the tanker, were involved in a
crash early on Thursday, but the tanker caught fire when the people
rushed for “free fuel.
Motor cycle and some other vehicle were also affected by the explosion.
