Usher has been awarded custody of his two sons, ending a long twisted legal battle with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
A judge ruled Friday that the 33-year-old Grammy winner would have primary custody of
Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 3, a source told CBS News.
The rapper married Foster in 2007 but the duo divorced two years later.
While Foster has been fighting for full custody of their kids, the singer initially asked for more visitation rights.
Earlier in May, the singer had testified that his ex-wife spat at him and tried to get into a scuffle with his girlfriend during one visit. He also alleged that his ex-wife had hit him during the dispute.
Foster will still retain some custodial rights, but the extent to which she will be able to see the two boys is unclear.
