Nigerian football legend Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha, threw a lavish 40th birthday party for his wife of 16 years, Nkechi Okocha on Friday October 25th at Civic Centre in Lagos. Maestromedia reports that Okocha gave his wife a brand new White Mercedez Benz G-Wagon SUV as birthday present. Nkechi was said to have gone down on her knees to thank her husband for all his love and support in front of the party guests. Happy belated birthday to her!

I have been reading a lot of news about me being published on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and different blogs by my good friends. I thought I must take out a quick moment and let you know that I am officially discharged today from the hospital, after a successful Kidney Transplantation Surgery, by God’s Grace.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all Nigerians for your prayers and good wishes, without which all this would not have been possible. Former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Mustapha Amego, has died after a long battle with colon cancer. The musician and former TV personality, who relocated to the US many years ago, died yesterday October 23rd in Baltimore, Maryland, US.For those who don't remember him, he was one of the host of popular 90's weekly music-dance show, Sunday Rendezvous. Mustapha was also PMAN president from 1993 to 1996. After his tenure, he relocated to the US where he worked with the Discovery Channel as a content producer and editor.
He will be buried today according to Muslim rites. May his soul rest in peace...Amen.

During his interview on Jimmy Kimmel last week, Kanye said he doesn't understand why his reality star baby mama Kim Kardashian doesn't have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "I want to shout out to the stars on the Walk of Fame because they said something about they're not going to put my girl on the Walk of Fame because she's a reality star. People are so so dated and not modern.
There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't have a star on the Walk of Fame." Kanye said on Jimmy Kimmel Well, Kanye now has his answer. According to Ana Martinez, a spokeswoman for the Walk and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Kim doesn't qualify to receive a star on the legendary sidewalk.

Actor Jamie Foxx is denying rumors that he and actress Katie Holmes are an item. Foxx is reportedly secretly dating the ex-wife of his bestie, actor Tom Cruise (if you miss it read it hear). The rumors spread like wildfire after In Touch quoted “multiple sources” who confirmed Foxx and Holmes were involved in a romantic relationship.The sources told In Touch that Foxx was a frequent visitor to Holmes’ NY apartment. Foxx is in NY filming the remake of the Broadway musical Annie.
Foxx said the rumors began swirling after he and Holmes shared an intimate dance at a party.
“[The rumors] are one hundred percent not true,” Foxx told Entertainment Tonight‘s Nancy O’Dell on Tuesday. “In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people.”
Foxx and Holmes’ ex, Tom Cruise, grew close after the two men co-starred in 2004′s “Collateral”.

On the day Adrian Peterson’s 2-year-old secret son, Ty, succumbed to brain injuries suffered in a beating last week, it was revealed he has another secret baby — a daughter — with a waitress who served him at a popular Minneapolis steakhouse.TMZ.com reports the woman revealed the existence of Peterson’s 3-month-old infant on her Facebook page.

Multiple sources have confirmed to In Touch that Tom Cruise’s bestie, actor Jamie Foxx, is dating his ex-wife, Katie Holmes. “Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while,” an insider revealed to In Touch. The source added that Jamie, who is in NY filming the remake of Annie, is a frequent visitor at Katie’s apartment.

The NOI Polls, which is an opinion polling and research organisation, established by the current Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and named after her, yesterday released resul ts from its poll carried out in January 2013, in commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child.NOI Polls revealed:
“In order to commemorate this event and honour the girl child this special day, NOI Polls Limited released one of the polls we conducted in the first quarter of the year 2013, which was focused on the challenges faced by the girl child in Nigeria and indeed the world over as a result of the incidence of rape among women in the society.
34 percent of the participants believed that indecent dressing was the main cause of rape in the society; 18 percent believed unemployment was the cause; nine percent believed it was caused by lack of moral values and another nine percent believed it was caused by the inability to control sexual urges; seven percent said it was caused by faulty upbringing. Five percent of the participants believed rape was caused by illiteracy about women’s rights, ungodliness and bad company.
According to E! News, the Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has separated from her husband of 22 years, Bruce Jenner.
