On the day Adrian Peterson’s 2-year-old secret son, Ty, succumbed to brain injuries suffered in a beating last week, it was revealed he has another secret baby — a daughter — with a waitress who served him at a popular Minneapolis steakhouse.
TMZ.com reports the woman revealed the existence of Peterson’s 3-month-old infant on her Facebook page.
“Today has been a long day finding out my (daughter’s) brother passed away and knowing that she never even got to meet him,” she wrote.
Peterson publicly claims 2 children — a 6-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy — who he fathered with his fiancée.
But another woman, Houston model Erica Sylon, now claims Peterson has a fifth child — a 4-year-old boy. Sylon criticized Peterson for not playing an active role in her son’s life.
Ty’s mother, Ashley Doohen (inset top), is one of the many random women Peterson has had promiscuous sex with. She thought her boyfriend, Tyrese Bobby Ruffin, was her son’s father. But after the couple split, Doohen filed for child support. A paternity test proved that Ty was not Ruffin’s.
Ruffin (pictured above) took to his Facebook page to criticize the media for showing sympathy to Peterson, who never met his biological son until the day he died. The NY Daily News reports Peterson asked for a DNA test 3 months ago. The test confirmed he was Ty’s father.
“I’m sick of the ‘poor AP shit!,” Bobby Ruffin wrote on his Facebook page. “He didn’t know or even meet my son. Sorry for the outburst but put yourself in my place.”
Ruffin added that Ty was named after him. He wrote: “AP met my son for the first time [yesterday] when my son was already in a coma.”
Doohen’s live-in boyfriend, Joseph Patterson (inset bottom), was arrested and charged with Ty’s death. He is being held on $750,000 bond in a Sioux Falss, S.D. jail awaiting trial.
Peterson was roundly criticized for saying he would play in last Sunday’s home game between his Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers — while his son was on life support. The boy died Friday, Oct. 11. The Vikings were clobbered by the Panthers that following Sunday. Peterson, an MVP running back, ran for only 62 yards in the game.
Peterson plans to attend Ty’s funeral in Sioux Falls, S.D. this week.
