Imagine getting an e-mail from your girlfriend/boyfriend that starts with ‘I love you’ and ends with ‘It’s over’.
That was what Katy Perry did to Travie McCoy when they were dating.
Katy Perry may be doing great in her
music with many awards won and records broken, but same cannot be said about her relationship with men.
The ‘Teenage Dream’ singer has been with five men and has broken up with four of them. She even went as far as getting married to Russell Brand, but the marriage lasted only fourteen months.
Travie McCoy, the Gym Class Heroes’ frontman didn’t really have too many fond memories of his relationship with the pop star he met in a recording studio in New York. During VH1′s Behind The Music special, McCoy alleges that Katy Perry broke up with him over e-mail when they were going out.
“It started off with ‘I love you so much I hate to do this…’ Someone that you are ready to spend the rest of your life with sends you a f**king email just s**ting on your whole parade. It destroyed me,” he recalls.
It wasn’t entirely the pastor’s daughter’s fault though. The rapper admits that he chose drugs over their relationship numerous times.
Katy Perry has been on-off with her latest catch, pop and blues rock musician John Mayer who just celebrated his 35th birthday.
Although reports say she’s ‘dangerously in love’ with him.
