Wyclef Jean posted a disturbing, Speedo-clad picture of himself on Twitter for his 43rd birthday.

The singer is half-naked, in a red and blue Speedo, sitting on an Italian motorcycle in front of his presumed home.

Though it looks like it was raining before the picture was taken, it also appears as if the
New Jerseyan, who tried to run for president of Haiti, lathered his body with baby oil for the picture.

There’s no denying that Wyclef Jean looks good for his age, but it’s a little strange that he would celebrate his birthday with Twitter in this way.

Along with posting the half-nude picture of himself he wrote, “TODAY I AM 43 YEARS OLD! I look And feel 26! U cant keep à good Man down! Keep à smile when they want you to frown!”

Jean's name began trending on Twitter less than two hours after posting the picture, with most people commented in how it was strange that he would post such an absurd picture after expressing such deep concern for the impoverished people of his homeland.

Not to mention that it’s a little disconcerting that the same man who wanted to be president of Haiti is now taking near-naked pictures of himself.

Many of the people who took to Twitter cited Haiti:

“@wyclef you really just stressed me out. Put some shoes on.”

“Haiti has been thru way too much. They deserve better than this,” expressed @cthagod.

“100+ Haitians could've benefited from all that baby oil Wyclef used,” @hoeFOH joked.

“this is pretty weird man,” @lindseyweber tweeted.

“Wyclef wasted all that good vegetable oil to pose on a motorcycle looking like spoiled gizzard,” @callmedollar said.

“I never saw this coming. Wyclef Jean's Haiti charity may have been a scam,” @Skepticscalpe surmised after seeing the strange photo.

“Haiti is still eating cold string beans out the can sleeping on cinder blocks and Wyclef is on a motorcycle in panties,” @callmedollar thought.

The hip-hop star has been under fire after since the chief executive of his charity Yele Haiti, Derek Q. Johnson, resigned.

Jean was in charge of the charity until he decided to run for president of Haiti. He was ultimately disqualified because he has U.S. citizenship despite being born in Haiti.

Now the New York attorney general’s office is investigating into the finances of Yele, The Grio wrote.

Johnson’s resignation from the charity came after Jean declined to accept a settlement proposed by the attorney general covering the charity’s pre-earthquake activities, according to the New York Times.

The Haitian-born Jean started the Yele Haiti charity to give back to his native land. The foundation was small until after the devastating earthquake in January 2010, when it reportedly raised $16 million.

Since raising all the money, audits following the earthquake revealed that $9 million of the money that was raised was spent by Yele on salaries, travel and office expenses, The Grio wrote.
