Matt Damon, his wife Luciana Barroso and their four daughters are heading out West, as they have just bought a 15-million-dollar-house in the upmarket seaside town of Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles.
And the couple should have no problem making new acquaintances, as their new home is on the same street, as the 41-year-old actor's best friend and
colleague, Ben Affleck, and his wife Jennifer Garner, the Daily Mail reported.
In May, Curbed had reported that the 'Bourne' trilogy star had his eye on a West coast home.
According to property records, Damon purchased the estate - described as a blend of California modernism and traditional Spanish Colonial and sitting on 0.7 acres- this week.
Described as the best house in the Pacific Palisades, the house is on a half-acre, private corner lot with lush landscaping.
The zen-inspired house has 35-foot mahogany vaulted ceilings, disappearing walls of glass and an open floor plan.
Laid out over three levels of living space that is connected by an open atrium and floating staircase are 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms a large living room, dining room, family room, media room, and kitchen.
The home also has an office, maids' rooms as well as a large private gym and a five-car garage.
The posh neighbourhood is also home to a host of Hollywood A-listers including Hilary Swank, Ray Liotta and Kate Hudson.
