Tottenham winger Gareth Bale has refused to comment on speculation that continues to surround his potential move to Real Madrid.

Last season's PFA Player and Young Player of the Year is reported to be the La Liga side's main transfer target after an impressive campaign that saw him score 21 goals in 33 Premier League appearances.

However, with a fee yet to be agreed, media reports over his future continue
to rumble on and Bale would not be drawn on the issue when he was quizzed about it while on international duty ahead of Wales' midweek friendly with the Republic of Ireland.

"I am truly sorry guys but it’s not time to speak," he told reporters.
Tottenham reportedly want £100million for the 24-year-old, but Real president Florentino Perez previously hinted that the Spanish club would not meet such a valuation.

Perez, though, did admit last week that talks remain ongoing.
Bale took part in a light training session on Monday ahead of the Ireland clash, but is due to miss Wednesday's game due to injury.
