The Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi lost his aged mother, Alhaja Sikirat Abeje Ajimobi at the age of 85 on evening of Wednesday 18th July, 2012. She was a prominent trader, devout Muslim and community leader.  Alhaja Ajimobi was survived by nine children.
Burial has been slated for Thursday according to Islamic rites at the deceased’s husband’s house at Johnson Awe Street, Apata, Oyo State by 2pm.
